CORBY TAPS WITH MAGIC BUTTONS
After watching Magic's Cartoon DVD.

I don't want to go to bed:
Bring Magic to the rescue.
Begin tapping on Magic as you say:
Karate chop: Magic doesn't want to go to bed and he's still a really cute bear.
Top of head: He really doesn't want to go to bed.
Eyebrow: He won't go to bed.
Side of eye: I wonder what magic is afraid of?
Under eye: He doesn't want to go to bed
Under nose: And he's still so very cute
Chin: He's a super duper bear
Collarbone: He doesn't want to go to bed.
Under Arm: We still love Magic, even if he won't go to bed.
Wrist: I wonder what will happen if he doesn't get his sleep.
Karate chop: Magic doesn't WANT to go to bed and we still love him and he's still cute.
(go with however the child is responding by this time) The child might want to do the tapping or they might be adding words.
You can say: "Why don't you whisper to Magic and ask him why he doesn't want to go to bed. Only you can hear him. See if he can tell you. Then you can help him tap so he can feel happier."
KIDS ARE FUN AND EASY TO WORK WITH

They quickly and easily get interested in Magic
and quickly pick up on how to use him.

Corby and Jacey tell Magic about the big dog that knocked Corby down and scared them.
"Magic, that big dog knocked us down. That dog scared us. We don't want to go outside now. He might get us and you're a cute bear. That dog knocked Corby down and he's still a good boy and I'm a good girl and you're a good bear."

We're all done. Magic loves us and we love Magic!
Thank you Magic, for helping us.
(They tapped and tapped with their parent guiding and then they just instinctively pulled the Magical bears up and hugged and loved them.
